Hi meep, YAAAAY, Brazil here come the socceroos.
Australia will need to play much better to compete in Brazil, too much time holding the ball, but Iraq played very defensive closing the game a lot.
Now the next hurdle is hoping Australia doesn't end up in a group with 2 or 3 top teams. 1 is enough.
A smart change by the coach, where I was everyone said, "why is Cahill going off, that's crazy" but my guess was the coach knew he was too marked and putting Kennedy in that position meant Iraq didn't feel the need to deal with him. Sure enough goal to Kennedy. Great cross by the way. Great move coach.

Iraq was dangerous because they had nothing to lose. 80 thousand fans, can you imagine the disappointment? It almost didn't happen. The conditions didnt help. Sooo looking forward to next year!!. The guys know what they have to do and we'll still have Schwartzer. Who is our no 2 goalie? I'm not even sure. Is it Federici?
