What is the worst meal you have had cooked up for you

my ex many years ago decided to have the friends we meet through around for dinner.

se cooked this thai green could have been red curry.

it was simmering away for hours.............and it smelt revolting.

i'm thinking I will be polite and eat it anyway.

sat down to eat hoping to be able to scoff it down.

didn't happen she made it with chuck steak and was way to chewy and tasted as bad as it smelt.

I didn't eat.....I told her why she was OK.

our quests ate it..............suckers

Not the worst meal but the worst dessert - 

A friend made a huge bowl of whipped cream and chucked some strawberries in. IT was vomit inducing.

There is a quail being grilled as we speak but as yet it is not done, it sure is on the nose.

my present OH was cooking a curry for other guests....I had been invited for dinner to meet him.  I didn't like curry so he was cooking me a steak instead....got so involved with the currry he burnt my steak!   it all worked out in the end.   35 years later:-D

the worse I've ever had was chicken and veg stew thickened with cornflour and all the bones were in there, oh it also had silver beet thickened with cornflour and onion  Blerk

In a restaurant in Thailand, I ordered fried crunchy ginger fish (or something along those lines), stupidly I did not expect to be presented with the entire fish, head and all. I don't know what type of fish it was but it was incredibly difficult to remove the bones. Though I ate it, gagging the whole time, after that I only ordered things I could point to a picture of on the menu. LOL.

In Bali once, I think it was poppy 's  restaurant in the late 1980's, I ordered a chicken dish but was given monkey t..........s by mistake. I think they're supposed to be a delicacy over there. I didn't eat them
