You use a floor lamp or a mechanic lamp or a desk lamp with a 40 or 60 watt light bulb: incandescent or halogen bulbs. Put in on the desk or hang it on the edge of the desk or on the floor.

You can get 40 watt incandescent  candle lightbulbs for a reasonable price at the big hardwares stores. I think up to 40 watt you can still get incandescent which are the cheapest.
