You've got to get out now

The zombie apocalypse has started. They are starting to surround your house.

Youve got to get out now but you have a couple of minutes to grab some things.

You can grab 5 personal items (not your family members or pets) and 5 food items from your pantry.

What do you grab?

well my personal items would be a torch, a can opener, batteries

Food i would take would be 2 cans on chunky soup, 2 big cans of spagetti and a can of tuna

What about a can opener if they don't have pull tabs?

I already have a bag packed for emergencies (ie bushfires)

Important photos.

Insurance/bank/legal documents along with titles to my houses.

Dog food/water/container

My purse with cash and cheque book.

A spare set of clothing including undies.

Cans of soup/baked beans/water (with a can opener if needed)

Coffee & long life milk

Portable  radio

More water

I don't watch that much garbage tv to believe in zombies

pasta baked beans flour sultanas herbs

The most important thing is a full tank of gas to eliminate fumes which are highly  flammable if caught in a fire.

I live in a high fire danger village  with one access road.  The place is packed during tourist seasons.

The first bit of falling ash I see, or nearby smoke.....I am outa here.

My original contingency plan was to go out onto the huge lake at the bottom of my garden but the RFB said no, not under any circumstances.
