I like warm and dry. I don't mind if it's sunny or overcast. I don't mind about humidity.
I do NOT like rain, snow, sleet, frost, fog, black ice, and all those horrible things.

I grew up in London ... for much of the year rain, snow, sleet, frost, fog, black ice, and all those horrible things were much too common.
I flew into Heathrow once in MAY and it was snowing. My feet felt, throughout much of the day in the cold weather as though they would never warm up and my head used to hurt ... and my ears.
I'm still laughing, though, about how I moved from London to Canberra :^O

Waving back at Purple ๐
I arrived in Tasmania about New Year's Eve ... ok, it WAS early in the morning, but I hadn't bought any jackets or coats or anything WARM. God, it was COLD.
Tasmania in August??? Brass monkey weather ๐
I'm retiring to Brisbane ... somewhere on a hill.
Always bring a jacket to Tasmania. We will be house sitting.

If I ever go back to Tasmania, I'll be bringing a full length coat made out of a doona, together with several pairs of wool socks, sheepskin boots and slippers, several hats, a dozen scarves, gloves, mittens, thick jumpers and fleecy trousers :^O
Aside from the weather, I loved it. Beautiful place, spectacular skies, lovely people, and great food.

I hate the heat and humidity. and I live in the sub tropics and die every summer.
I plan on moving to Tassie. I love it there, and the cold weather.

I've lived in Canberra, Brisbane, Darwin, Coffs Harbour ... spent time in Sydney, Melbourne, Tassie (just a few days) ... I loved Brisbane in the drought, loved Darwin in the dry ...

Duff, I LOVE Brisbane. Sydney and Melbourne are too big for me and I think Brisbane is just plain beautiful. The nicest city I've ever been to.
Why didn't you like it?
