Your worst 5 movies

There are a lot of movies on peoples worst list that I actually really enjoyed.

Moulin Rouge for a start because it was not what I was expecting and I like Ewen McGregor and even Gatsby I loved.  I must not be too anti Baz Luhrmann although I don't always like the frenetic pace.

Sin, you like the original Cat People? So do I. The scene with the swimming pool still scares me.

Saw it as a kid on late night TV. Freaked me out.

Worst movies: new Star Wars, almost anything with Tom Cruise, ditto Tom Hanks.

Your right Wonderland, I have not seen the extended version, directors cut, or even the regular version. Because, in 4 or so attempts, I've never managed to get more than 15 minutes in, before I'm asleep! Same goes for Star Wars and Star Trek, 15 minutes and it's night night Lis!

Yeah same joono, like Bad Boy Bubby, I know it's kinda sick in parts, but I love that movie. I didnt mind Moulin Rougue for that same reason you said, it wasn't what I expected and I always like that in a movie.

LOL Lis, I'm not a big star wars fan either.

I guess I made my comment because I reckon anyone who has read LOTR starting with the Hobbit would at the very least, enjoy, the whole 3 movies. I may be bias because I read and loved all the books and feel like the movies were spot on, effects, casting, storyline, they left a couple of things out that were in the books but then I guess it would've been over 10 hours long to have had absolutely everything included into the movies.

amber, that was one of the first movies on dvd i ever bought! we are big fans of psychological horror, especially the old movies. another one we love that still creeps me out is repulsion, with a very young catherine denueve. i still have nightmares about the hands coming outr of the walls!

we aren't really fans of guts and gore movies, which is rather odd considering one of my hobbies is turning people into monsters, lol!

i do watch them to learn new techniques, but they usually don't have good stories, you know?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I am more into the old psychological horror movies too 🙂 you turn people into monsters? Are you a make up artist too? Or do you mean for gigs (think you were in a band?)

lol,yes i'm a makeup artist ! as a witch,i don't turn people into monsters,only with makeup,lol!

yes,i was in a band or 2,but we record at home now,i write and sing sometimes, curtis does everthing else.

i do gig makeup occasionally, this weekend my best friend has a gig and he and the girls will be zombies, it's a walking dead theme. no clue why,i just do the makeup and dance!

have you seen the original carnival of souls? 1961? part of that was filmed in topeka kansas,my hubby lived in the boarding house with his first wife years later. it's not psychological horror ,per se,but i think you'd like it.
