Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

That's amazing Cosmos, but, but, but....
you HAVE to take a photo for us with the bonnet and door open!
I am so intrigued - I can see how the door opens, but can't figure out the bonnet.
Very imaginative and very skilled. I am very "crafty", but can't draw or paint to save my life, so am in awe of anyone who can.

Beautiful stuff! Lots of talent here. I love that.
Here's a caricature I did of Bob Dylan...
This is my most recent. A caricature of "Big Daddy", the owner of a local burger joint...

Az, let me know if you'd like some pointers ... I started off nervous, then got the basic skills and then just LOVED playing with beads 🙂 They are so pretty ... and it's fun making different things ... I made a girl's bracelet like a flower ...
Thank you, I will do that at some point 🙂 I have a squillion things going atm. :8}

Love the art work, the painting of the car and the teddy and the beads.
I painted this a few years ago. I used to have it hanging on the wall now it's in the cupboard under the stairs. It's not my best but it's the only painting I've kept over the years. I tend to throw them out.

I always do the drawing by hand. In the second image, I scanned the drawing and did the rest of it digitally. In the Dylan one, I did the whole thing the old-fashioned way. The rendering was done with a combination of hand-painted acrylic and airbrushed acrylic, with colored pencil used for details.
