Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

The handbag, the teddy bear, the quilt, the necklaces/bracelets and the cool car are all amazing! You are all very talented!
My daughter just recently started making teddy bears. This was one of her first efforts...
I think it's kinda cute 🙂

it is kinda cute! I wouldn't have the patience for that.... my sis in law is an artist, my bil dabbles but has no confidence in his ability, my OH is artistic too.

Cute teddybears. Handmade teddybears would sell well.

That's a beautiful painting cat. Don't through them away!
A few years I tried to it sell at a garage sale for $5 but a mum and her artist son persuaded me to keep it. They were going to buy it until I told them I never keep my paintings.

It's a beautiful representation of what you felt at the time. If you throw them away, you throw your own history away. You don't want to do that. True, everything is temporal and changing, but what comes out of you artistically is sort of a reminder of your journey. That alone is priceless!

Five dollars?! Are you kidding?! That painting is worth WAY more than that!

That is a lovely reason to keep our artwork - as an expression of who we were at the time of creation.

Kengillard, if you have some pics on your computer then click on the little black and white pic next to the smilie pic.
Then click on choose file which should bring up your pictures library. Find the pic and double click on it. Then click on add down the bottom and it will place it in your post.
