art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

the miniatures are so cute.

i lived next door to a lady who custom made doll houses - some of them sold for thousands of dollars, which when you factor in all the time and materials probably wasn't really all that expensive.

Re: art thread?

Debra, I know I posted this recently, just not sure where, so apologies to all for any repetition.

The scene is a back garden with a dunny ... inside the dunny (for some reason) there are two seats ... a small roll of toilet paper, and a newspaper.  There is a rocking chair and a table, and on the table, there is a can of beer, a glass, an ashtray, and a pipe.  To the side of the table, there is a wheelbarrow, with assorted fruits and vegetables that the gardener has collected from the garden and is going to take inside.  Around the garden, there are some plants and plant pots, against the dunny there are some garden tools.  In the garden, there is a miniature elephant sculpture (part of this is influenced by the Elephant and Wheelbarrow pub in Brisbane), and a couple of miniature dogs.
