Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

Moonlight, sure I can post a pic of the bathroom floor :^O
Definately not art though! Actually it's not tiles, it's a laminate floor that I'm laying over tiles, decided against the tiles as it meant I had to pull up the existing tiles and that seemed like just far too much hard work. The laminate just goes straight over the old tiles - just about killing me though, I had to try and balance the basin/pedestal on my head whilst I slid and clicked a couple of the boards together underneath it. Got it, but there was a LOT of blue air in the room during the process.
I saw that painting of Soul's earlier and there is JUST NO WAY that my loo will ever look like that - I wish, wish, wish I could do something like that, it is exactly what I would like (but on a much larger scale - pun unintentional). That painting is sensational.
Soul I have seen a few vids on an underwater mural, but they all seem to concentrate on drawing the fish or corals, not the actual background. I'm still going to give it a go, but have decided to wait until hubby gets home and replaces the loo, otherwise I will have to try and patch it as the new cistern is smaller than the old. You should do room murals, put them on stickers and sell them to untalented people like me.

mix two colours...blue and green and wash a big background and then build on it.....starting t the top.

don't mix. start with blue at the top and merge into green further down... then build your fish etc and rocks and seaweed etc.
