Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. ๐

believe it or not they are cut out of cardboard boxes and painted.
if you look at the bottom star on the tree you can see the ridges.
they sold well - were lightweight for the tree and postage

Fantastic Pepe, that has given me some nice ideas about getting started early for doing an all hand made decorated tree this year thank you. Wouldn't mind a few clues though?
I made some decorations out of foam balls, sequins and tiny pins once. I had thousands of sequins all put into little colour separate containers as were the pins. Was sitting up in bed late one night sorting them and in rushed our two Siamese kittens have a game .. they leapt onto the bed, and there right in front of me, up went a huge cloud of sequins and pins.
It took literally months to find them all. Needless to say after that, I no longer make many foam balled decorations, it took the motivation away forever ... ๐

This little wall hanging went to Canada to friends who wanted something depicting Australian fauna. The borders look a wincy dark but it's really much lighter than it looks.
I told them all about the 'drop bears' of course and how kangaroos are in everyone's yard .. :^O

i can't find the one i used but this is pretty similar.
I used smaller balls and had 6 sections.
Instead of using tape measure and pen i made the sections by using rubber bands and cutting along the dent they made.
I used thin gold cord for detail and hangers - the gold circles are drawing pins with a blob of glue on them
