Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. ๐

I just had to work out how to post from PB. For me, it was edit, resize to half size, copy the direct link, come here, click the picture box, use "from the web", post the link, preview to see if it fits and then post.
Have you ever heard ... "it it ain't broke, don't fix it"?

Yeah, it's too time consuming to get large images to fit the allowable eBay size. I am just going to post a link to the large pic on PB from now on, instead of trying to jump through hoops to put it here. It takes a second for people to click the link, instead of the 1-2 minutes to try to make it work. But for smaller images, you can load it from your computer, instead of "from the web", which is quick and easy.

More great pieces !!
Moonlight, I don't have any new pics on the computer since the last art thread...so most have seen what pics I do have. I'll put one up but don't want to bore people who have seen the pics already.
and.............OMG, you do believe in jumping in the deep end don't you ? Good on you for giving the masterpiece a try. With pastels, go from light to dark, use something like a cotton bud to push the colour into the paper and can't wait to see your next artwork.

omg at last I'm able to comment, lol, I've just caught up with this thread and there are about 150 posts since I was on here yesterday. there are too many artworks to comment on individually
but i'm loving everything that's being done and enjoying this so much.
Such a variety of creativity
.
Moonlight that's so exciting all the paint products you've brought and it's great that you are
going to branch out into pastels and acrylics, two mediums that I love. A suggestion is to get the
chalk pastels not the oil, as you can mix them on the paper more easily, and use pastel paper that has a rough side. Also get a can of Working Fixative I think it's called which you spray on every so often to stop the powder from falling everywhere
I hope you don't mind this 'lecture' but I have taught art and just can't help myself, lol.
Soulart that's a beautiful painting, Debra I love the miniature dollhouses, all the quilters
I humbly do a bow as I can't imagine having the patience or talent to do them.
