art thread?

Hi folks. I've just bought a box of coloured pencils, and will be working on my first drawing soon. I'll post the completed work here. Would love people to post their art here for us to see. Doesn't matter what type of art - drawing, painting, photos/photo manipulation, cake decorating, quilting, poetry, origami, whatever. Let's have some fun and show our creativity. 🙂

You could call that one Waterlilly and put in in the Flower category.

Cool! Great idea, 'cos, I dunno if that is what you are seeing to right, but I did draw a sort of plant, before the horse, which could be mistaken for a water lilly, in a dark room on a stormy night when the power has gone out. 😄

If I was analysing your first painting, I would say you were feeling a bit down but had patches of brightness through your day ?

Art is one of the best ways of expressing emotions.  I would love to work as an art therapist....only problem being....I would probably be the one locked up in the rubber room !!:^O (along with people who paint cows with butchers knives) 😛

Thank you, and you are close to the mark, but I still prefer the first, I think like the colours better in that one, the other is too........ pink? :^O
