We are so pleased that most people seem to be getting what they need, and it's fantastic that things that are not necessarily the "absolute essentials" are now also getting to people, a week after the fires - I think you will agree they deserve some care packages in there.
Remember this post?
Someone heading to the Murdunna shop can you help Les & Kerry they could really use an eski, ice, large non-adherant medical dressings, some fresh food and to push his luck Dad recons a bottle of scotch would down really well about now.
I was wondering if anyone was able to help I am in Somerset so can't get there to put this care pack together myself. If you can help can you FB message me or ph 0408 577 479
cheers Maree and family
Here's the update!
Dear Mel, Kelli (from Gretna), Peter Cross, Alanna Smith and everyone else who answered a call for help to helped to brighten my parents day thank you so much.
Les & Kerry were over the moon with there care package Dad is now enjoying his scotch , the dogs are chewing on some fresh bones and Kerry is giggling her way through the Elf's books about beating depression and dealing with life's challenges while nibbling on a piece of cake with fresh dressings on her legs.
We all really appreciate this little bit of kindness and normality in one very crazy week.
Maree & family
