this is not about envy nor jealousy......this is about greed, gluttony and lust. How could anyone sane be envious of what these sorts glean from what is everyones?

if our country did not have these people that you despise then we would be even more broke than we are at the moment, they are the movers that are digging up the ore that keeps us afloat. What do you think pays for the social security, pensions etc. ? Can you make money for Australia?

what does it take to get through! Mining companies don't just walk in and take, they invest millions and often the investments are wasted bcause there is no return. Andrew Forrest went from loaded to broke not that long ago but he managed to pull his company back through effort (not by moaning on forums). Yes they have lots of money on paper but how much is invested, do you see pictures of these miners living it up on yachts etc. no because they are all working and paying royalties on every gram they extract.
By the way, I have no financial interest in mining neither do I know anyone involved in the industry. I'm just happy that the industry exists because without it we would be a terribly poor country.

saying the obvious does not change the fact that these billionaires got 'rich' from being greedy
as for your Q. Can you make money for Australia?
Yes. But I don't back scratch, take bribes and am too honest for politics!!
