calls from melbourne claqiming to be from ebay about a $700 purchase on my account.

I have been receiving calls from melbourne numbers over the past 4 days with a recorded message saying I have purchased something worth $700. It then says to press 1 to go to a customer support officer. I believe this to be a scam so I hang up straight away. Anyone else had this issue.
