Re: crafty question

Not me.... but I came across this a few days ago, great site and has a section on knitting them using 8 ply cotton.

Re: crafty question

Gee this brings back memories.  My mother taught me to me making them.

Re: crafty question

This one would be a good pattern for a dishcloth.  It's a tea towel and dish cloth that I crocheted and obviously it's a miniature so I used silk sewing thread but for a full size one I would definitely use cotton.

The tea towel is woven crochet but it would be good for a dish cloth/cleaning cloth too.Tea towel and dish cloth.JPG

Re: crafty question

good grief, I'd need coke bottle glasses to be able to do anything that fine.

What do you do with your miniatures Joono,

Re: crafty question

I suppose I can say now as I can't be accused of advertising.  Up until a while ago I used to sell them on ebay.  I've taken a very long break while I do some knitting and stuff (and resting my eyes lol).

I've got my own dolls house displays that I use them in too.
