dear Mods,Is it possible to make a dedicated politics discussion board?

Dear Mods. Is it possible to create a political discussion board similar to the Art and Crafts or the Fun and Games Board?

That way the politickers could argue politics all day long if they wished without disrupting the flow of general discussion topics on Community Spirit.

you seem to assume that politics is drivel to everyone and that everyone is either Labor or Liberal or that a political discussion could be carried out in that manner DDB .You are seeing it as sides not discussion and seeing them all the same as to you they are ALL drivel.I have posted polical threads myself .

and where would people put ..I didn't know how big the white paper is/how small the booth is ?

I think that tv show threads are mostly drivel and don't interest me much ...I do not consider or call other posters rude for posting them nor suggest they put all TV show threads on the one thread ...how would it sound/look to you if someone did ?

the tv show threads are one thread about a show, not 256 threads about minutely different aspects of the one show.

the tv show threads do not spill over into everyday discussion threads.

i am yet to see a poster in the survivor thread harangue, harass, belittle and abuse a poster in the big brother thread for not watching their preferred show.

there is just no comparison between the two types of threads

All TV discussion isn't limited to one thread either. There is a thread for each show under discussion along with general TV threads.

it's not eh fault of the regulars that the board got taken over by spammers either so why try to exclude them now because of a few spammers that hung around for the past few months?

Political threads and people who want to post them, read them or comment on them can go crazy on their own special political board.

It will be politics heaven
