dear Mods,Is it possible to make a dedicated politics discussion board?

Dear Mods. Is it possible to create a political discussion board similar to the Art and Crafts or the Fun and Games Board?

That way the politickers could argue politics all day long if they wished without disrupting the flow of general discussion topics on Community Spirit.

No one has said to ban all political threads from ebay chatboards.

All that has been asked is that a separate board be set up for politics.

It wont be hard to find and anyone who wants to talk politics can post their little political heart away on there

The craft people, the book people etc seem able to find their boards ok.

So, if one were to just want to ask about something political, one would need to go to the designated board? and not post it here?

Can't see too many being eager enough to do that.......I wouldn't bother.

and members post about those things/have threads about those things  here too...as part of this Community .

Politics is a part of life and a topic that comes into general discussions quite often ...(or some people's general discussion anyway).

That's the problem isn't it Az.  If people could be relied on to only use one ID then the political threads wouldn't have become the spam that it did.  It seems a bit better now so I am not so worried.

I don't mind political threads although I don't usually join in but the spam drove me bonkers.

It'd be impossible to banish all political discussion from CS because it is relevant to so many discussions. It'd be better if lithium forced the one ID and spamming rules.
