death at sea

The live export industry is in crisis amid revelations thousands of sheep from farms in WA and the eastern States died in extreme heat during a horror voyage to the Middle East on a ship which was back in Fremantle loading animals in 40C conditions last weekend.

I don't see how discussing the MLA's actions are "personal"

but they were not doing their job properly in regard to the welfare of the animals & they were being paid enormous dollars to do so

Business and Governments are looking into ways to reduce or stop live exports.

For anyone interested you should have your say about the Northern Plan and put in a submission about  including abattoirs and slaughter houses... incentives for people to live in the middle of nowhere... and finance for these businesses when droughts hit and the animals all die.

So sad to hear the facts of the matter crikey. Agriculture is or was the great engine that drove our countries prosperity.

Having grown up in the bush I do know & understand what you are saying but it's sad just the same.

Thanks for all the info.
