That apart from selling our public assets another event kept quiet is the Howard Government and the was Costello selling our gold reserves Australia under the Howard government sold of her gold reserves for rock bottom prices, the fact is that this sale which didn't even go to tender for the highest bidder has now cost Australia $5 billion dollars and it has made our paper money a fiat currency just like the US green back.
Seriously how could Howard allow Costello to rubber stamp such a transaction.
If thats not an act of treason then i am dumb and dumber.

and yet the fiberals and their supporters insist they are better at "managing the economy'. Now hockey is saying that poor people don't drive as much...... this mob are the worst government we have ever had....never thought I would be saying that after some of howards actions.

Abbott carries on the Howard project — unfortunately for Australia

They didn't only rubber stamp it, they owned the decision.
For all the bragging they do about being the better managers of the economy they really only get surpluses by having fire sales of our assets and neglecting services, infrastructure and the community.

I read that one too. Poorer people can't afford cars and can't afford to drive them so let's make sure we keep them that way and add to the numbers that can't afford private vehicles.
What planet is he on? The people out in the suburbs use more petrol travelling and are less likely to have a fuel card or allowance attached to their employment.
