Yeah that was sad. I shared it on Facebook.
It's disgrace that mines like in agricultural and protected areas are approved by our government.
With the downturn in coal mining, Shenhua should be made to see that farming the land would be much more profitable in the long run than destroying it.
Alan Jones discussed this with a guest earlier this week, Peter Mailler. Leader of the Country Party.
God bless him he discusses the mine and the plight of the farmers nearly every day. The governments d/won't listen and the public don't seem to care.
