happy days?

The only thing that doesn't change is the continual describing of someone by their disability.

If I were she - there would be more than one disability to be described.

When you really take the time to properly look at this, the scary thing is just about everything IS EXACTLY THE SAME.......Man Surprised

Lets take the whole thing shot by shot  -

* Picking Fruit  OK Too many today refuse to do it, but there is still fruit to be picked in the state and plenty of places to " Pick your own "

* Tram ride to city - Still there and a great ride. Did it last week

* Parklands walks - Still there and more manicured than ever in places

* Grand North terrace buildings - Still there and just as good as ever. Did it last week

* City views from the balcony - Still there and great from the majestic second story at the end of Rundle arcade . ( Or top of the     OAKS apartments at Glenelg ) - Did it last week.

* Husband phoning wife at work to discuss weekend plans - Still there.....Man Very Happy

* Car Manufacturing - replaced by ship building

* Botanical Gardens in the centre of the city - Still there, just as good as always and did it 6 months ago.

* Kids going to dance classes - still there - been there / done that with the kids

* People doing bad art - Still there and on display at a market near you.

* Fancy restaurants overlooking the city - Still there but not my thing

* Beaches - Still there - Did it last week and at home this weekend - Fishing trip to remote beach booked for next weekend.

* Horse racing in the parklands in the centre of the city. - Still there

* Central Market - A famous Australian fresh food market - Still there and plenty of new farmers markets too

* Clothing boutiques - Take a walk down Rundle street east or Unley road

* Night life and dancing - Still there , the daughter does it often

* Pubs - Still there, plenty of places for a coldie - Did it at Port Adelaide last week

* People looking bored while watching a self indulgent solo guitarist in a little club - unfortunately still there

* Church ? OK still there if you want it, although not many do these days.

* Views of the city from the Adelaide hills - Still there, take a walk along Waterfall gully - Stunning - did it 6 months ago.

* Boat cruises on the Torrens aboard the " Popeye " Scary, but that exact same boat is still doing boat cruises on the Torrens daily

https://thepopeye.com.au/

* Rowing on the Torrens - ditto

* Picnic BBQ's in the Park - Still there

Its actually quite scary, but you could retake that whole 20 minute video today in Adelaide and the only thing that has changed is the fashions and cars.

Life is what you make of it. People can choose to sit on the couch saying everything's turned to carp and there's nothing to do, or they can get off their butts and embrace all of the great experiences and opportunities that are out there. Your choice !
