Why?
They are saying yes if you get the virus so it's to protect others but as long as you stick to social distancing and
use hand sanitizer before touching your face/mouth/nose then there shouldn't be a need for masks.
You should wear a mask if you have a cough,flu symptoms,think you may have the virus or know for sure.
A mask could increase the risk if it's not comfortable to wear and it's always being adjusted.
If you are worried at all then getting masks will help your mental health as worrying doesn't.

So how does one test a CN or N95 face mask ?
