how do I delete my inbox messages permanently

how do I delete messages my inbox or rubbish folders permanently?

I can't see how to do this through the message screen.

Looks like that tells you how to delete a message in your My eBay.....like a message from a Buyer or Seller.  Doesn't work here in the Community Forums/Groups/Discussions.

That doesn't work for the trash messages, which is what the OP and others are wanting.

I don't think you can delete them from trash.  They are automatically deleted from trash after 6 months.
