Gosh, CQ and Flannie, aren't you guys just little rays of sunshine !
I think that film footage was taken in the NSW wheat belt, possibly in the Nyngan area.
There are plenty around at the moment. My dog spends half his day bouncing around in the long grass chasing them. Useless mutt doesn't catch any though, and comes home covered in farmers friends.

last nights update
caught 14 in the live traps.
then gave them to the dogs 12 escaped to return to where ever it is they are hiding. only 2 got chomped.
manchester terriers are supposed to be excellent ratters. PFFT
i let the mouse go,the dogs get all excited and run into each other and the mouse escapes. they then spend the next half hour sniffing about trying to find it.
so i catch them, but they end up back where they come from.
pest controller says i would have less than 100. if i had 1000's i would see them everywhere when i open the shed door.

Drop the traps in a bucket of water. Then close your eyes and put your fingers in your ears.
