I suppose I look at things differently, being male and more than able to handle any issues if someone took it further whereas

Exactly...but joanie has, by cherry picking the posts made it appear that they are talking about American police...

Probably the reason that person is posting here, as well as possibly many, many other forums as well.

I haven't yet worked out whether our friend is genuine, or it's all attention-seeking.

ATM, I'm leaning towards the latter.
