:_| Washing machine, X-(
I made a post about this ages ago,:|
I was hand washing for my family of six as my machine died,:|
As i couldn't make my mind up on what i should buy i kept at hand washing, Until 4 weeks ago and bought a 5.5kg fisher and paykel top loader. Thinking it was so nice to finally have a machineB-)
I hate this machine, Its so rough on the fabrics it has torn a few items of clothing because it causes them to get stuck under the agitator. X-(
So i call the fisher and paykel help line and had a repairman out under warranty to assess the machine.
He looked at it and said it was all fine and to wash all clothes in a mesh bag.(never ever heard of machine) requiring this either.?:|
But still gets the mesh bag caught and tore it open during the cycle and now have a item stuck under the agitator once again and won't budge X-(. Grrr I have had enough of this rubbish. Then on top of this it leaves excessive lint on the clothes (yes i separate very carefully) I use half the liqard omo detergent and clothes still don't seem very well rinsed either:_|. I use the right cycle for what fabrics im washing etc, Im not stupid:^O
Tomorrow im taking the machine back to the good guys and making a stand on a full refund or replacement to another brand and if i have to make a song and dance till they help me out so bloody be it as they haven't been at all helpful either. .:_|:O:|X-(;\
So if any of you can tell me of your experiences with a excellant washing machine im all ears, 🙂
Thank you for your understanding but i needed to vent about this disgraceful appliance.

I have never had that problem with a top loader, it might be just the brand.
Anyway, I got a new washing machine last sept 2012, got a front loader and I have found it so much better than a top loader.
It washes the clothes so much cleaner, I would never go back to a top loader. I bought a 7.5kg, and can wash heaps in the machine.
Take yours back, seeing it is still in warranty and get something else.

I have a top loader washing machine but it's one without a central agitator. It works well. If you prefer a top loader maybe you need to get one like that.

Up until a couple of days ago I would have recommended an Asko but now I don't think it is spin drying properly :_|
I think I've got a bit of time because the spin cycle still works on it's own.

If you do Pimpy, would you let me know please? Does it have one? I don't get any lint on things so it must have a good one. Don't worry, it must be 10 years old now or close to it.

Mine is a Fisher and Paykel top loader and it works fine; It's really loud but it works.. Have only had it repaired once when the control panel broke. Of course this had to happen when the machine was full of water

love my f&p....until last year had had no problems aftdr 8 years. the computer went but had it replaced and it washes great. my daughter also has the same without ant issues. 5.5 seems rather small for a family of 6 I would have thought.
