if you dont like cigs well that's your hard luck mate, i smoke and enjoy it, smoked 30 years ,and alot don't get it

out there, their are alot like me who can't stop, tried everything to stop don't work so i'll stick to it, untill its that exspensive i will have to force myself to stop, 

if the government really cared they'd ban it, how about raising tax on **bleep** pots

If you really, really want to quit smoking, it's easy...........just have a heart attack. I haven't had any withdrawal symptoms these last 29 years...........

I guess none of my dogs over the years were normal.......they all wolfed down Macca's like it was their last meal.......by the way, none of those photos were of Big Macs.  I absolutely don't trust sites that have an agenda, which includes most vegetarian and vegan sites.  They crow about how animal meat will kill you over time, but are strangely silent when the subject of salmonella or listeria in vegetables will kill you quickly.

The state of Oregon (among others) has utilized that "tax 'em till they quit" attitude over the last couple of decades.........I can't imagine coughing up (pun intended)  $50 bucks or more for a carton of cigarettes, followed by coughing up a lung.  That 2-3 hundred a month would be handy when you want a new stove or fridge without the never-never........

I was not going to join this debate, but I agree that everything we buy in a Supermarket is full of chemicals and toxic poisons. Fruit and vegetables are grown to lok great and last a bit longer, but where is the taste? Even bottled water has a chemical added to stay clear looking longer.

I recently had to go to Melbourne and was only to glad to get back home again to our fresh mountain air. After a few hours in the city my head was pounding and my stomach was in a knot. The noise, the stink from petrol and diesel fumes and industrial sites made me feel very sick. It took two days before I got rid of the headache.

Talking about smoking, some of the Cafes in the city have tables and chairs on the sidewalk outside their business. Lo and behold, there are ashtrays sitting on the tables.

I am lucky I live in the country. Fresher air and lots of homegrown produce to buy. Our Senior Citicens Club has a morning coffee day where members bring home grown fruit and vegetables, fresh freerange eggs. All from their own gardens and a few chooks they keep. Once a month there is a Farmers Market in one of the neighbouring towns. Great reason for a days outing to go and buy organically grown food, not from a multinational conglomeration that tries to fool us to buy their goods. At least at our markets we can tell who grows their own and who buys wholesale to re-sell.

I live in the country n the cafes have outside dining tables, cant say it bothers me greatly ....... not sure what buying fresh f n v/eggs has to do with smoking/not smoking?
