I am so not political - hardly agree (or lets face it, even understand) half of what you go on about at times, but on this

hockey really has only himself to blame for how he is now perceived - he thought he was untouchable so let his true colours show.

I lost all respect for Joe Hockey when I heard him describe the day of the Budget delivery for The Treasurer as "the most important day of my life...."

It was ALL about him.

A spokesman for Mr Hockey said the $50,000 dinner represented “excellent value for money’’.

The cost of the lavish G20 dinner has been revealed just days after Mr Hockey handed down a brutal Budget that could cost some families up to $5000 a year as a result of cuts to family payments and increased medical costs.

On the menu at his Washington dinner was barramundi, Victorian Wagyu beef, WA truffles and a “eucalyptus ice” dressed with Tasmanian leatherwood honey.

Despite declaring “the age of entitlement is over’’ in his Budget speech, Mr Hockey’s own Treasury department paid the TV chef to fly business class and airlift truffles from Australia to Washington DC last month. Smiley LOL  nyum nyums

Re: i think he's finished

Dear Mr Hockey: Do you know what $7 really means to Australian families?

I have posted this link because I myself have experienced similar to this story.

I know what it felt like to scavenge for dollars and cents to buy milk and bread.

Shame on you Mr Abbott and Mr Hockey. Shame on all of the LNP Members.
