I'm still gob-smacked that this man was elected.
There are more women in Australia than men, did the women not vote?
He clearly doesn't believe in equality so who voted for him?

I lie, I do not wonder at all!
I do understand the displayed and chorused chagrin though, because even Gillard was prone to often break into a verse or two of Poor Poor Pitiful Me.
not in my case. i'm enjoying the show so far, i love to see him bleep it all up. i also enjoy the defensive bleatings from those who consider themselves victors. including those who have said in the past they supported neither.. a seemingly doubtful claim considering the myopic bleating eminating from that source .

TFW it is a pity that the ALP Myopics can not face up to the fact (closed eye?) that the Libs did not win the election, the ALP lost it.
All this foot stamping, bleating , and Abbott dissin, might provide transitory relief , but will not mask reality : the Coalition have been elected by a majority of the Australian people.
My suggestions to the ALP Myopics is get your house in undivided order, starting with a leader, I lean towards Shorten, and for heavens sake stop waving the fraying sexist/misogynist flag at Abbott, because you sound like our ex Poor Me (Gillard), whilst at the same time overlooking the fact that it was a bunch ALP males that ousted Gillard and replaced her with a male.

get over yourself....
this was meant to be a light-hearted thread whereby we can take the mickey freely without all this
name calling.
I'm not suffering from any post-poll stress disorder and I can't see a campfire.

All free thinking people of both sexes who were sick and tired of a disfunctional bunch of people who were more involved in trying to out do each other and stab each other in the back instead of doing what they are paid to do, run the country.
I do agree TA does not come across as a people person but does it matter whether ministers are male or femail ? If he and his chosen party can undo the mess we have been left with I will be very happy, it's all about ability to do the job NOT about whether any of them should run in a popularity contest.
