I liked the run of ads on TV the other night. In one we see a couple of kids acting out the drunken behaviour of adult men to highlight the influence such behaviour has on kids.
The very next ad featured a couple of boofhead cricketers, culminating in the downing of a stubbie of VB.Disappointing.

Yeah I did a dbl-take when I saw that on Media Watch last night.

That's just a straight out lie.

It's not advertising.

It's reporting.

Very lazy reporting, at that.

Amazing that the reporters didn't question the content before running with it, considering it's old, well known, information that Arnott's was sold to Campbell's.

Agree.

But do they check anything nowadays ?

Interesting that most on here knew it off the top of their heads.

Fleetwood Mac- little lies- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e5HkuhSEnPQ

yeah, i won't argue with that, it's a world of liars your minor example accepted, theres far more. I have about given up on truth in many areas of life, i go around with these three words i often fall back on,

"I don't understand"

and when someone asks

"what don't you understand?" i then reply with this question

"I do understand?"

At the shelter where i was, i questioned their rules that they do and don't enforce. They have no smoking and no eating rules in the dorms, but only enforce the no eating rule. How?, simple, they allow those to bring cigerettes and tobacco into the dorms, but not foodand water,  they don't allow it past the security screening, not to mention the security personal who proclaimed a law degree, says that the 4th amendment is the right to bear arms. This when i brought up the 4th during their going through my purse, and picking up someone else's nasty cigerettes and putting them in my purse maybe by mistake. I guess since i wanted to be secure in my personal property, i'm trying to sneek guns into the dorms, not sure if that one is enforced, but food, now thats the real danger, or water sealed in a bottle.

i guess i can get by without water to swallow my pills, but if they really want to know what i don't understand, i don't understand why they encourage and endorse smoking there, i can give several examples of them doing this even though they will and have denied it.

Other things i don't understand is being arrested and charged when i'm the victim of a crime, JFS cutting my food benifits when i went out of the county just for a warm place to sleep, people voting for Bush or Obama with choices like Ron Paul, Gary Johnson, or Jesse Ventura, the lack of advancment in a vehicle's gas millage, too much to list.
