they both have quite a few houses and a pretty big main road to go over before it reaches me, we're ok. They are both about a 5minute drive from my house

I've also put buckets of water outside for the wildlife.
I don't have air con and I have one very distressed kitty on my hands. She keeps pacing and meowing and licking my hand (a sign of distress in her). I keep wiping her down with wet towels and misting her but she hates that too. My little deaf kitty has snoozed all day with not a peep and fat Thai knows something isn't quite right but he's so laid back he's just flopping in a different part of the house on the hour.

We have airconditioning and we also have a pedestal fan going in the hall way...
Dogs are inside, the cats got out, but hubby looked under the house and they are there and it is cool under there......

I wish my Birman would settle down and sleep.
The cats should be ok under the house blue, most cats are clever and know where the coolest place is.

My other half has been outside, and got one of the cats, and he has also put clean fresh cold water in the bird bath......we have so many come most days, but today there are more...
When I was young I loved heat like this, now that I am old I loathe it.
There are a few clouds around, hope they build up to some rain.........I know, wishful thinking.
