Well, nothing at the moment that I can find.
I just didn't want them to feel left out.

One thing I remember is a close friend requiring his teeth removed and replaced with dentures in a couple of months in Adelaide, whereas in N.S.W you'd be lucky to be even considered for such a procedure in less than 2 years.
I've lived in 4 states over the last 30 years and S.A. is streets ahead of the others in certain things, especially in looking after its citizens.
Yep, Agree with you on that one. There are still major structural problems with the SA health system ( The cost of the new RAH being top and centre ), but the service delivery at ground level is pretty good and getting better since the Libs got into power.
Fixing the health system was the single biggest issue the Libs campaigned on and they are delivering on their promises. They are slowly making inroads into the ramping issue ( ambulances waiting hours in hospital car parks, unable to admit patients to clogged up hospitals ) that dogged Labors last years in office and the new Womans & Childrens hospital will help alleviate the bed shortages caused by Labors " transforming health campaign." ( also known as shutting hospital beds )
We are suffering the worst flu epedemic in decades and this would have absolutely crippled the hospital system had it continued under Labors failed management, but we seem to be coping with it very well. We are not getting the media reports on people waiting in ambulances for 12 hours like we where before the election and I have personally noticed a reduction in ramping during my regular hospital visits.
Reading the details of the S.A. Liberals second budget is almost bizzarre. It is more Labor than a Labor budget. Higher fees and taxes, more debt, greater spending on education, more teachers, new hospital, electricity savings initiatives for low income earners and an increase in funding for social housing. I suppose it just goes to show how much damage Labor did to basic services while in office for 16 years and how far they have drifted away from their core constituancy. . It seems the Libs really are cleaning up Labors messes this time.
