Yes, and what will happen if you or your family gets coronavirus?  Yes, I know, it does look good here in OZ, but not in the rest of the world, and there is a good chance of second wave.

I have friend with kennels who would look after my animals IF she and her family are OK, but first somebody would need to take them there = 1 hour drive.  I guess my neighbors would feed my animals for a while.....   That is assuming that if I get it so would my daughter.

Then there is a strong possibility that some jobs are not coming back.  What are people going to do when the jobkeeper payment stops, their savings run out, and dole will be again what it used to be, and bills are piling up?

When I read pets are likely to be lonely when people return to work I automatically substitute dogs for the more general pets.

I think most cats will be fine.

My cat is more active at night and she likes to doze during the day.  Lately she has been keeping me company in the daytime but usually that means at some point she is next to me....but is soon fast asleep.  As affectionate as she often is, at this time of year I wonder if the attraction is me...or the fact that we are both in the only room with a heater on.
