I agree Iza....usually when I'm on the forum, I'm looking at stuff on ebay...it's a bit like having a chat as  you shop...lol....every time I get a slap however, it reminds me of why I don't like shopping here anymore..,..very unfriendly (including the herding mentality of their horrid  search engine)

tas, yes, we're old school...my other half describes himself as a neo luddite and loving it and I reckon when the first voice activated smart computer comes into play, I'll be reported for abuse of a technological entity....:^O

am3, it seems that soon, whether you're a faceache member or not, your opinion could end up there without your knowledge, & being made a big deal of?..huh?....cringe.

I reckon the more they do it, the less I'll participate.  I'm stubborn like that....

Cue, I meant not the only buyers who's buying habits are influenced by the boards.These boards may be social media...they are also social media on a buying/selling site .

Oh OK....I don't like having my buying habits influenced....you wouldn't believe how many times I have to press -pre-owned or used when searching for collectibles.....I have more saved searches these days than you can imagine & most of them have -this -that -something else because of the keyword spamming....It's just not as much fun or as friendly when you have to do things their way all the time.  i always thought that businesses would be more into 'attracting customers' by giving them the shopping experience they want.
