You hear many Christians say that. What does that even mean?

I think it means whatever they say it means. It's a personal thing and may vary from person to person according to their beliefs.

I also think it means that they claim to have a "relationship" with some kind of unverifiable sky spirit in which the other 68% of the world's population do not beleive.

It is an arrogance to assume the claim to believe in the "one true faith". (whatever that faith is)

remember: Everyone who follows a particular religion can be considered Infidel in the eyes of those who follow a different religion. (and there are very many of them)

It doesn't matter what religion people believe in. what matters is how that religious belief teaches them to act in respect to their fellow humans on this planet. This is the only way to judge the worth of any religion.

A person can have or claim to have a "relationship" with Jesus or Allah or Bhudda or with with the great spaghetti monster in the sky, etc. but if, in this world, people who claim to be religious, act like demons to their fellow inhabitants of this planet, then their religion has some hard questions to answer.

wiccans seem very spiritual - they claim

their Goddess.  spiritual connection means

different things to different people so there is

no one definition.
