not exactly.  people usually base their beliefs

on something.  

When you say Jesus is the truth, it doesn't explain or mean anything to me.

first one didn't work, the second, he discusses some interesting theroys of how stories in the bible might be just metaphores and not actual events, true or not, it don't negate the existence of God, or Jesus for me. I didn't just come to believe in God from going to church or watching Chuck Baldwin videos on Youtube. i knew of God's existence before i was born to know anything at all.

if you want to embrace your belief that you end when you die, then that's your choice, i won't try to sway you from that. i will only try to help you, should you want to change that belief. could you return the favor and not try to sway others away from their belief in God? Make you come off like the devil or something.

I for one respect people who think Jesus is their saviour,  I respect their belief, I just wish I could feel the

same as I don't but it would be a nice feeling.

Thank you for your respect, and yes, it is a nice feeling for me, I don't have much in the way of this life, life has not been kind to me is a massive understatment. it's nice to know i have something better in the future, i'm not so afraid of death, actually looking forward to it. Also, it doesn't so much matter what i lose in the here and now, all that has been taken from me, all the abuse from police, family, and others, i read a poster on a wall at the shelter, it says,

"What people think about me is not as important as what Jesus knows about me"
