No it's not immoral. It's vital.

A nation's wealth is built on it's population. Family units is what builds an economy. It keeps ppl working, businesses in business and strengthens defence. Poor ppl or not, the strength is in numbers of populace.

If a nation does not produce enough ppl, then it must rely on immigration. which is not always a happy result. As we know.

Perhaps that was true 100 years ago, but too many of the great unwashed breed.......in India, girl children are dross, in sub-Saharan Africa, there is insufficient food or potable water, yet every year another child shows up in every family, often to perish.  Earth cannot sustain 70 million new mouths every year.

To tell the truth, the immorality isn't confined to the poor.........

Surely your not speaking of many African countries or middle eastern countries or Asian countries, as well as even some European countries where the population numbers are often staggering.There is either no businesses to speak of, unemploiyment is more common than not, neighbours are fighting neighbours and their currency is of little consequence. You must be talking about countries like Russia and China that populate, intimidate, liquidate and any other date you care to name.

If you bring a child into this world and can't provide even the basic necessities, in a peaceful and safe environment, then, not are you immoral, you are guilty of a henius crime.

Planet Earth has limitless capacity to provide sustenance.

India might have poverty, but her ppl are so plentiful they are colonising many other countries, like Africa, Australia, UK etc.

China the same.

Africa the same.

If these countries are living in poverty, it's not because they can't make a living from the land. It's because the land is being monopolised by Industrialists, Speculators, Investors and Corporations.

Well that's a fair enough statement to make. That's a different scenario than the drought affected areas in Africa and the increasing violence taking place in the middle east yet, never-the-less, the responsibility of bringing a child into the place your talking of, is no different than the places I'm talking about. Tell me why you think it's ok to subject a child, from any where on earth, to what I would call child abuse. I'm sorry but, for me, your earlier post just doesn't cut it.

Please clue me in as to what industrialists, speculators, investors and corporations are monopolizing the Sudan, Somalia, Chad, Yemen............perhaps I'll invest........
