"No one is the suppository of all wisdom". Certainly not you Mr Abbott!

This is what he said yesterday to a group of Liberal supporters (well who else). What a prime time goose.

And what a bunch of geese we will look when he represents us internationally.

“No one,” Tony Abbott told a Melbourne gathering of Liberal Party faithful, “however smart, however well-educated, however experienced … is the suppository of all wisdom”.

I don't remember K Rudd saying that (not disputing that he did). I live in NSW. I will remember TA's recent gaffe forever though.

Foreign Minister Kevin Rudd has done nothing to dampen speculation about Labor's leadership by describing himself as "prime minister" in an ABC radio interview in regional New South Wales.

Only people who suffer memory loss (through a medical condition or Alzheimers) will forget  TA's  suppository comment.

In other news, Opposition Leader Tony Abbott's gaffe from yesterday - in which he mistakenly used the phrase "suppository of all knowledge" - has gone global, with newspapers in the UK and the ABC and CNN networks in the USA all giving it a run.

No, bum or toilet humour wins every time.

Regardless of what some of us think there will always be a huge laugh fest over suppository gaffes compared to everyday gaffes.

Rudd would have copped it just as bad, or worse, if he made that particular gaffe.

I am not in the least bit interested in what K Rudd said in 2011. Is anyone?

I am interested in Tony Abbott's gaffe this week though... and how the people/media of Australia react to it, and people/media from around the world do also.
