This is what he said yesterday to a group of Liberal supporters (well who else). What a prime time goose.
And what a bunch of geese we will look when he represents us internationally.
“No one,” Tony Abbott told a Melbourne gathering of Liberal Party faithful, “however smart, however well-educated, however experienced … is the suppository of all wisdom”.

Did the photos of Julia and Gillard go viral all over the internet? Did hundreds of cartoons and funny jokes appear on the internet about them? Did the whole world laugh at the photos of Julia & Obama?
No comparison with Mr Abbott's gaffe from yesterday imo.. however he now has Tuesday's blunder doing the rounds on the net/media.

Abbott is just like the Will Ferrell character in the movie, The Campaign. Next he might be hitting babies and dogs...

That's actually a disgusting thing to say and an insult to those who suffer domestic violence.

I have just been reading the remarks on this thread, some are worth reading but most appear to be written by critical people who must think they have never made a mistake.
Of coures he meant to say Repository and I guess some people don't need a good reason to put someone down.

Generally most of us here are ordinary citizens, if we make a mistake when we are speaking it doesn't affect the nation and go viral on the interent and worldwide media don't cover it.
I guess some people don't need a good reason to put someone down.
I agree with that, think back when Julia G was PM and she got put down because of her hairstyle, spectacles, shape of her jacket, comments about redheads, slurs about her partner etc.. nothing at all to do with politics or speeches she gave.
