Say if they truly belive in the suffering and torture associated with the Chrisitian, Muslim, Morman etc hell and the beauty of heaven. Hence to save you from hell and bring you to heaven they need to convert you, then why wouldn't they all be trying?

Bob, I think they secretly know there is no such place as heaven and
hell. They just want you to share your money with them.

Your 'believe' is wrong. Damn be to those who tried to convert you Has anyone shown you which end, top or bottom, is a better place to be? Stay Holy.
Supposably I "believe" with all my heart that smoking is bad for you and you're someone I care about who smokes. Wouldn't I be more moral to try to get you to stop if I cared?

Growing up - we had great neighbours - bits were removed from the fence so that she could come out her back door - through the fence - into our door. (Every year she would ask my father to remove another paling. lol)
A staunch Catholic - she would wait for the Jehovahs to close in - opening her door - in their face ' we're Catholic ' shut the door - tear through the fence - in our back door - to our front door - waiting.
As soon as they knocked - she would reef it open saying ' so are they '.
We weren't much at all really.
She would then ask for the kettle to be put on.

The problem with the people you are describing is that they think they are superior and know the truth. Their attitude towards others is insulting and disrespectful. Adults make life decisions for reasons that are nobody's business, if that is their choice. To suggest one has a "moral" obligation to intervene is arrogant and confirms a self-sense of superiority. Being there for somebody, should they reach out one day is more caring, rather than trying to control or convert them.

I discovered the Mormons have something called Baptism of the Dead. So if a Mormon marries a non-Mormon who won't convert they can fix that problem once the person is no longer able to object...because they are dead.
I could hardly believe such a thing was possible. I told the person who said this to me that if anyone did that to me when I was dead I'd come back and haunt them!
