My thoughts exactly,  The otherday  six juvenile punks forced their way into my lounge, tied me to my chair and changed the TV channel from the Simpsons   to  the  UFC.  I think I have been traumatised for life.

Now I am destined for re-runs of  Sparticus, Caligular, Gladiator  etc, just to regain some sense of humanity.

This is a good question  the_bob_delusion and kudos to you for bringing this topic up.

Even though boxing is a sport that can be dangerous, I admit to quite liking boxing.  Where it differs from UFC is that there are restrictions in boxing and less damage done. There are good rules.  UFC IMO has pushed things to the limit as far as a sport can go without being a death sport.

I'm not for it. It has become too brutal and now there are a lot of back yard / car park matches going on around the world.

I like boxing by thew way. It is a sport of skill. George Forman one of my favs. I quite like an indigenous boxer called Anthony.

Boxing = good. UFC = too dangerous. Not good.
