"What Doctors Don't Tell You"

What Doctors Don’t Tell You magazine pulled from supermarket shelves

A magazine spouting “complimentary therapies and alternative medicines” and telling readers how to protect themselves from 5G has been yanked from Coles and Woolworths shelves nationwide.

The decision on the April-May 2020 edition of What Doctors Don’t Tell You was made on Tuesday afternoon after Sydney 2GB radio host Ben Fordham expressed outrage at it being stocked in Australia’s two biggest supermarkets.

He said the publication was “filled with dangerous misinformation”, “dodgy medical advice” and “full of all the usual conspiracy theories”.

The front cover of the edition shared by Fordham hints at articles on healing spines without surgery, healing diabetes and “healing your heart after a heart attack”.

“Protect yourself from Wi-Fi and 5G, a step-by-step guide to staying safe,” another headline states.

Yes and I have bought a handful of copies over the last few years. There is some interesting stuff in the the mag. I don't believe a good deal of the articles but there are also a good deal of articles that are  highly interesting, helpful and would never get covered by thee main stream media.

I suspect there are a lot of things big Pharma and the medical system don't tell us and also there is a lot of damage being done by the alternative medicine sector. Two examples.......

On big Pharma.....A few years ago my health was in a bad way. I was coming home from work exhausted and could barely get off the couch to eat dinner or shower. The lethargy was overwhelming and made me a danger on the roads. I also had pre diabetes and despite changing my diet, losing a lot of weight and regularly exercising I was rapidly racing towards full blown diabetes. ( within six months if my health trajectory continued ) I was starting to panic as I was doing everything I could to prevent the onset of diabetes.

It was at the time Four Corners was pilloried for its programme blowing the whistle on the dangers of the big Pharma promotion of Statins, used for treating high cholesterol. I was one of the people who gave up Statins as a result of the programme and my health improved immediately. My blood pressure was lower, cholesterol levels reduced into a manageable range and the threat of diabetes subsided with blood sugar levels now quite respectable. The only thing I changed was going off of Statins.

Spoiler
They might be fine in a lot of people but for many who suffer adverse reactions, they are just horrible things

You could have died as a result of what happened! Big Pharma is well known for peddling drugs that have caused adverese reactions. Their medication always treats the symptoms and not the cause. For obvious reasons, well and healthy people are of no interest to the industry.

BTW: A terrible experience for you and it's good to hear that you've got that behind you.

OK so that's the sceptic, alternate medical view stuff done, now for the dangerous bit....

My wife is blind. Her mum was the last of the young girls who went through school before a national schools immunisation programme was introduced and she is the last of the thalidomide babies born as a result of Rubella.. There isn't much riles her up, but when the anti vaxers start spouting there rubbish, she arcs up. Its all very well to spout off crack pot theories, until one of your own suffer major disability as a result. She is lucky...its only her eyesight that is affected. Many Rubella babies also suffered blidness, deafness and brain injury. And lets not forget the crippling effects of Polio.

Free speech is all very well but if babies are going to be born badly deformed as result of this " free speech ", society has a responsibility to shut the nutters down one way or another. If that means taking crack pot magaines off of the shelves of major supermarkets ( so their ideas are not normalised ) ....Go for it !!!

I'm personally not opposed to Rubella vaccines or some others like Polio and I reat Anti-vaxxers  the same as I do the rabid pro-vaxxer. I do get annoyed when the main-stream media lumps Vaccination Caution / Vaccination selection people in with the Anti-Vaxxers. These are two different types of people!! While Anti-Vaxxers are anti all vaccines, Vaccine Cautioners and Selectors don't  want their children injected with everything that comes out.  They go  for the main diseases that woulld cause their children tthe most harm while passing up on the vaccines that won't.. It has been found with those children that they have less learning difficultiies and less allergy problems. They also have an issue with toxins in them such as Formaldehyde, Mercury and Aluminium. The last two are neurotoxins.

With a multi-billlion dollar industry and the known inflluence$$$$$ inustries have, sommetimes we just don't get to hear all the facts.

And once again I'd like to say that Vaccination Caution and Vaccination selection folk are not Anti-Vaxxers. Of course the MSM  (Main stream media) is not going to educate folk on that one any time soon.

As far as the magazine being a crackpot one, having never read it I can't comment on it. If it's anyhing like Nexus then I would say that it's not. Obviously, some articles need to be read with an  open mind and mentallly digested with a degree oof caution, However, if it covers articles like Nexus does that are useful annd important then there'll be many people that can benefit from them. People have beateen the odds and bounced back to quality of life by going down the road of aternative and natural remedyytreatments. These include peoople who have been diagnosed with permanent and terminal illnesses.

Perssonally I wonder if the magazine wasn't pulled off the shelf becusse soomeone was looking for an excuse to do so and this was it.

Lastly, if the mainsttream media wasn't corrupt and didn''t have inflluence$$$$$  by people with the ability to lavish gifts on (Oh that's lovely thanks types of ) journaists or their bosses, people wouldn't be denied life saving info and they wouldn't  have to buy these magazines to sort though  the dubious  stuff to get to the goood stuff. Also people would be alterted much earlier to the dangers of certain medications that could have given you diabetes and potentially kill you.

The point is, ithe magazine was pulled off the shelves by due to a journalist who professed outrage about it on a right-wing radio station.

Not by the government, not by any medical organisation. So the can't have been too concerned about it.

It proves how effectively the media can influence public opinion and manufacture widespread indignation.

I'm nor sure I quite understand this. Rubella is a normally mild disease that can cause death or birth defects in an unborn babies,

Thalidomide was a drug (not a vaccine) prescribed for morning sickness that also caused birth defects in unborn babies.

But Rubella was neither caused by, nor the cause of thalidomide.

There goes "Freedom of Speech"...

I had to go out and get some groceries and  few other things. Thursday night is lotto night so I was popping in to the news agent to get my ticket. While waiting I went to the magazine stand to kill some time while the qeue thinned out. There it was, the last issue of "What the Doctors Don't Tell You". All the "Nexus", "Uncensored" and a "Healthy Living" (Or whatever it'scalled) magazines were sold out. I think they woud get a ½ dozen of each. Anyway I had a thumb though and out of interest, I decided to get it.

Scanning though the pages, I can't see anything that woould warrent such an action. Most of the articles are quite good and helpful to those looking at getting healthier. Great aricle about the dangers of formeldehyde, Interesting article about the dangers of 5G as well. Thiis is of concern to manyy people and high profile people in the telecommunications industries "have spoken out about this. There doesn''t even seem to be anything that would be considered anti-vaccine.

So I clicked on the link that the OP has provided and watched the clip that News.com.au has provided,  The clip, "The crazy coronavirus conspiracies and why people need them" has nothing to do  with the content that's in the current issue of this magazine. The clip even mentiions the moon landing and JFK assassination conspiracies. Like whaaaat's going on here????

I'm giving him rthe benefit out doubt here and just say ....To me he has taken a tunnel thinking approach to the magazine.

if you read your link Icy it also says

Royal Australian College of General Practitioners president Dr Harry Nespolon applauded the decision, calling it an exercise in “corporate responsibility”.

“Doctors aren’t keeping anything from you, we are working as hard as we can to help our patients every day,” Dr Nespolon said.

“Now, more than ever, we need to heed expert medical advice and ignore pseudo-scientific nonsense and myths that will ‘cure’ COVID-19 and all else.

so, doctors supported it being removed as well

The stable genius can't understand people ringing hotlines to find out if it's safe to use disinfectant internally.

The so called " disinfectant" is a particular chemical in which a few drops is added to a glass of water .... not as implied by the hysterical reports drank straight

(however for the record i would be skeptical and wary as it would I imagine wipe out all bacteria, many types in which we need for good health ... but then again , i believe, so does penicillin )

I picked up a copy of the mag today out of curiosity. Blame my lotto addiction for that. I have scanned the pages and nothing has come up that really looks crackpot. In actual fact, there's a lot of  sensible health related articles there and some great tasty recepies There's nothing in this  current issue that would get your wife angry eithere. There aren't any articles attacking vaccination as such. There is oone article that talks about contaminated vaccines made in unsupervised factories. This has even been a headache to doctors that push vaccines.

IMO, the offending article is the 5G one.

Pick up a copy if you still can and have look please. While there's some stuff you may not agree with, there's stuff you'll find interesting.

As they say . . . . . . . . . . "Don't judge a book by its cover."

Now I have for the very first time purchased this magazine, I'll pprobably purchase it again. I don't mind "Nexus" which I find sometimes a bit too "New Age" for my liking. However, I find  this mag seems to be somewhat less "New Age" and more practical. Also the Chicken Fajita recepie and the one for Coffee & hazelnut muffins look OK..

BTW: Thanks to the OP for bringing this up.
