Obviously.
Yet how is the right of opinion and expression different to right of speech?
You can have an opinion and express that opinion as long as you stay within certain boundaries and it doesn't
mean that if that opinion is offencive or derogatory that it will allowed or not punished
Free speech means you can say whatever you want without those boundaries.

Of course we have freedom of speech. That's how we find out about the right wings support for convicted pedophiles.

Rights always come with Responsibilities. Your "right" to free speech (which we don't actually have in this country) also comes with a responsibility to not cause offence.
It's pretty simple really

Or does anybody think that under the "freedom of expression" they should be free to punch people in the face, just because it expresses their feeling about them? Please, note the American First Amendment says "Congress shall make no law ", it does not say you can say anything you want without others having rights of their own.First Amendment - Religion and ExpressionCongress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
And this relates to Australia, which has no equivalent legislation, how?
