How would you react to this scenario?
Driving along a road you see a young boy in school uniform on his way to school waving a gun and knife at passing traffic.
Would you ignore him or take steps to ensure the gun and knife are 'toys' and not the real deal?

Yeah but it was twinkles that saw the original "left over Halloween gun" ....my guess is that with her poor eye sight and the fact that she was probably driving over 30 k,s (and easily distracted from paying attention to the road at peak hrs) .....that the kid could've had a nerd gun and shed still freak out and try to close a school down 😄
Maybe. Maybe not but it has opened an interesting discussion, I think, from a legal perspective that is. The rest? Well...... o_@

My advice -
When people know better....they do better.
Hopefully, no more fun loving kids will be victimised in that area from now on.
And if in a real life threatening situation.....call 000.
....just saying......

I asked what YOU would do not what you think I should have done.....pages of posts re guns yet not one comment or concern re the knife????

Thank you, I know I did. As usual the ones doing all the bleating about how I was wrong always say I am wrong lol Interpersonal at it's best and they read what they want to see not what is written, twist it until the truth is no longer visible.

i would chuckle at the thought that some people get frightened by it and are actually paranoid at the sight of a kid playing with a toy gun
pyow! pyow!

the gun. why would you laugh without knowing if it could have easily been mistaken for a real one? or the knife? it could have been real. Why would you lough at someone taking it seriously?
