Hi this is really weird never had this before. I had a tummy tuck 5 yrs ago and near where the appendix is (had my appendix out) just above the tummy tuck scar when i move my stomach muscles i feels like someone has a razor just under the skin and ripping through my muscles. When i first felt the pains thought my scar was ripping apart. Ive seen my dr 2 weeks ago when it started and she felt nothing but ordered a ultrasound mainly looking at my ovaries which i told her its not inside but just under my skin feeling. It started going away and then 4 days ago its started again REALLY bad i can hardly move. The ultrasound she couldnt see anything. I have an appointment monday morning but really fed up sitting really still as i cant handle these sudden pains it actually feels like something is ripping me apart.
Has anyone else had this?

It does sound like it is that scar tissue (adhesions) thing but could it even be nerve pain?
I hope they didn't leave something in you when they did the op and it's trying to work it's way out. I had some glass come out just under my eyebrow recently from a car accident that happened when I was only 18/19. There is still more in there but it won't come out.

Another suggestion unrelated to your tummy tuck diverticluitis.

Diverticulitis pain is more like a cramp and more to the rear/pelvic floor.
If you had an ultrasound that would have picked up any possible kidney stones being passed through the bladder.
Hernia tends to be either side rather than near venus(pubic bone) if that is where pain is.
I still think possible adhesions. Good you are seeing the doc again, even just for peace of mind.

I used to work in medical records in a hospital and it is common to have adhesions severed if they are too painful.
Try this link: http://www.emedicinehealth.com/adhesions_general_and_after_surgery/page2_em.htm#adhesions_causes

Reminds me of my brother in the mid 1980's as a young kid. He did a ripper skid out on his bike and end up with a knee full of gravel, went to the hospital they apparently got it all out (scar covered the knee cap). Fast forward to a couple of years ago, he complained of knee pain and then a small 'sore' appeared just below the scar and a small piece of gravel popped out when squeezed.
