Joanie, you seem to have no idea about HRT. Millions of women all over the world have been using it for years, including me but we still use other medications with no ill effects.
I use several prescription medications on a regular basis and others when necessary.....antibiotics, steroid type medications and any other medication deemed necessary for whatever ails me.
None of them have ever had any effect on each other. My doctor just would not prescribe anything that would interfer with the other medications I am taking and my chemist would not dispense them if he had made a mistake.
HRT is not a life and death medication....it just makes you feel a lot more human. Refusing to take medication for bronchitis could be a life and death situation, especially while you are living in that cold damp caravan.

There is nothing worse than someone whinging about their health, yet they do nothing to help themselves.
Just a tip...... if you smell like cigs..... people will think you smoke.
you just talked me out of it, i had to wait until the stores opened around here, and i only started this topic to ask for suggestions to avoid having to go to the hospital and be accused of smoking. the mouthwash helped, the steam helped.
so now i smell like something i can't stand the smell of.
Who cares if they asked you if you smoke?...it's their job. Bronchitis and smoking can go hand in hand. They also know not all
Bronchitis is caused by smoking..... Be aware also that being around cig smoke will make you smell like a smoker.
Non smokers can smell it on people a mile away.
It is your choice whether you take your medication or not.....The hospital staff seem to care more about your health than you do.

i can almost garentee that most women including you don't use it for the same reasons as i. anyway, i've decided to stop using it while taking this.. so far, nothing... still choking, probibly has to work into my system.

Who cares if they asked you if you smoke?.
i do when they accuse me of riding my bike in the middle road blocking traffic. when they threaten me with rape and arrest.

It really does not matter what HRT is used for.....it is the same medication and is very unlikely to cause a problem with the meds you have for the bronchitis.
Just take both your meds or you will be complaining that your other condition is acting up again.

What the?......... They asked you if you smoke, because bronchitis is inflammation of the lungs....every inhalation of a cig will make it
worse. They have done their job to ask. Being asked if you are a smoker is not an offensive question, and is irrelevant to where you
ride your bike.... and of zero relevance to your experience with the police. Time to let it go.
Health professionals ask a lot of questions to assist with making a diagnosis.... be honest with them.... then they can help you.
Stop sabotaging your own happiness.
