Haven't been any on shelves in my area for weeks. Coles have actually filled the toilet paper section with disposable nappies so you go there and have a happy second thinking there is lots available but not so. I did ask at the check out yesterday and was told that it does come in through the day and handed out in another area.

My daughter has struck the same. Her shopping centre has 2 supermarkets but one is closed for renovations. She hasn't been able to find TP there in the Woolies that is open for about a month and has been in at different times of the day. She is also having trouble getting fresh milk or meat. I think she may have to try other areas.
I think the shops are getting supplies but the problem is they run out within minutes, so you have to be in the right place at the right time.
I joined a site on facebook. Going by the very elegant name of Dunny busters.
Seems to be a local one. Saw someone post onWed at 4pm that there was TP at Coles in my suburb.
So I hopped in the car and drove there (it is close by) without much expectation. There was a steady stream of people pouring into the store, word must have spread.
I am now the proud owner of a 20 pack.
But I am going to have to give that one to my daughter as her family has almost none left.
Luckily I managed to get some more early next day.
At the moment though I am sharing most of it out as I have 3 adult kids with families.
You'd think it should start coming back onto shelves some time soon. Surely the hoarders must have enough by now.

as i said in my original post, we were shown pictures and videos of wearhouses full of toot paper
plus we were told the manufacturers were doubling production, nothing to worry about, stock is on its way!
well its been weeks!
why arnt the shelves full?
whatever is being delivered (and i'm sure some is being delivered) is so obviously not enough!
woolies shops know how many packs they require to fully fill the shelves, why arnt they getting at least that much PLUS 50% more?
or double?
if space is a problem for storing extra, then rent a near by storage place!
same goes for every item thats been sold out.
unless the distributer has none of course.
remember we have been told numerous times, theres NO shortages, just stuff is selling fast.
well prove it, get those shelves filled, even if it means working all night every night.

I think people now just buy it when they see it regardless if they need it. My partner walked into a coles early in the week and they where asking and handing it out at the door as people walked in. I told her to give it back as she had a full pack already and let someone else have it.

They have chocolate easter eggs where the toilet rolls go here at coles. Not sure if it supposed to be some kind of joke.

It must be the same coles. They had some easter eggs in the toilet paper section the week before the disposable napplies appeared.
Also they have moved other stock where the paper towels were. Pathetic joke imo.

So what is in the spot where they normally keep the easter eggs.
Also I feel like when I shop at coles now I am shopping at Aldi as they only have half the items I need and I have to go somewhere else to get the rest.

I was told Coles stock up on fridays, I left there disappointed this morning. I couldn't buy the usual stuff I like from coles.
A staff member said: no we stock up everyday! **bleep**, so no signs of sanity in my neck of the woods.
