empty shelves every where
not 1 roll of toot paper anywhere.
i might add, considering we are told 'only travel if your doing must do stuff'
it was busy on the roads, and the carpark wasnt very full or the shop itself.
the garden centre carpark was quite busy as was the hardware store.
woolies had a guy at the door offering hand wash stuff.
but no wipes for trolleys or baskets.
i just cant get my head around the no toot paper, where on earth is it?
we were told there was no shortage and shown warehouses full of it.
i have to go to the chemist tomorrow so i'll check drakes out again.

My feeling is people grab it when they see it even if they don't need it. I think it's human nature to start grabbing things when they think they will miss out.
My other theory is we are actually out of toilet paper and due to all the bushfires there's no trees left to cut down anymore. The government tells you theres no shortage to try and slow the panic.

I asked a the counter at a local IGA and they are stashing it out the back. Brought it out to me tied in a plain black plastic bag, slyly slipped it to me and whispered "$3.50". I got 4 rolls and have wound up the hose.
.... I used to spin that date roll like I was on wheel of fortune..... Now I adjust it sparingly like a I am trying to crack a safe

You do know that if I went to the supermarket and found loo paper there, I'd be torn between telling you the good news, that there's loo paper on the shelves, and keeping it quiet to avoid a stampede, ha ha...

Chances of community transmitted virus at the extremly high range when this carp happens.
Hopefully it was a lot less extreme when they started the "pensioners" early hour or there will be a lot of elderly
people with the virus.
Once they find out where the community transmissions happened they might be able to control it better or at
least be able to proof to some that it is serious and that the virus does kill.

as ive said, i dont need it, not yet anyway
but we were fed the story when the shelves were stripped bare of toot paper
never fear, there is o shortage of toot paper.
we were shown warehouses full of it.
since then i have seen nothing but empty shelves
where the heck is all this toot paper and why isnt the govt making it an issue!
its a serious problem, even if its good for jokes

The otherday I seen a guy leaving coles early in the morning with a pack in his trolley.
I had a theory that the same people keep going in the morning and keep buying a pack when they see it.
Well my partner tells me a work friend has 90 rolls and whenever they go to the shops they buy another pack as she can go early in the morning..
She told my partner it was her thing and felt insecure if she doesnt keep buying.
Unfortunately I can't repeat what I replied with.
